SFT UK LAUNCHES "STUDENTS FOR A GREEN TIBET" ENVIRONMENT CAMPAIGN
On the December 5th 2009, SFT UK and other organisations participated in the Wave, a series of public actions including the largest climate change march the UK has ever seen.
To tie in with the start of the 2009 United Nations’ Climate Change Conference, SFT UK is proud to launch our environmental campaign – ‘Students for a Green Tibet’.
Students for a Free Tibet UK strongly condemn the executions of Lobsang Gyaltsen, Loyak, Penkyi and a fourth unnamed Tibetan by the Chinese authorities in Lhasa on October 20th. We call on the British government to condemn the executions and also on President Obama to take bold and concrete action for Tibet when he visits China next month.
