This calender is to help your group plan some events in the run up to the Beijing Olympics 2008. We've marked some events that you can attend as well as important dates around which you might wish to hold an event. Brainstorm with your group or look at our toolkits and fundraising idea sheets if you need a starter.

April

15th - Panchen Lama's Birthday

The Panchen Lama will be 19 years old on this day. His whereabouts remain unknown and his Beijing-appointed replacement remains in power.

May

24th-28th May – HHDL's teachings

His Holiness the Dalai Lama's visit to Nottingham for five days of teachings.

July

6th – HHDL's Birthday

August

8th – Start of the Beijing Olympics 2008
